Meet the Team

Dr. Preston McAlexander grew up in Holly Springs, MS and attended the University of Mississippi where he received his undergraduate degree in 1999. He continued his studies at the University of Mississippi Medical Center and was awarded the Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2004. While at the School of Dentistry, he served as student body present and representative to the American Dental Association. .

Dr. McAlexander worked for five years in a community health center dental clinic as part of the National Health Service Corps. He is a member of the Mississippi Dental Association and the American Dental Association.

At the health center dental clinic, Dr. McAlexander was able to see first-hand the impact that quality dental services can have on a family. He is proud to continue his work to bring great dental care to all children, regardless of their family income.

Dr. McAlexander enjoys life outside the office with his wife and two kids. He is an active member of his local United Methodist Church.

Dr. Kristen Douglas  is a native of Mississippi’s sister state, Alabama, but has spent the last 16 years calling Mississippi her home. She received her BS from Mississippi College, and went on to graduate from the University of Mississippi Medical Center, School of Dentistry.

Before and during dental school, Dr. Kristen worked for a pediatric dentist and quickly realized how fun it was to work with children and their parents. In 2016, she completed a two-year pediatric dental residency at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. While in residency, she had the unique opportunity to rotate through St. Jude and LeBonheur Children’s Hospitals as a part of her training.

Dr. Kristen is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and is currently a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Mississippi Dental Association, and the American Dental Association.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Kristen makes her home with her husband and daughter. She would say that being a mother has greatly impacted how she practices. With so much information to process and decisions to make, she understands the challenges that parents face when it comes to making healthcare choices for their children. She considers it a privilege to be trusted with the care of your child.

Dr. Sarah Crain grew up in nearby Holly Springs, MS. No surprise, she attended Ole Miss where she received a B.S. in Biological Sciences in 2004. From there, she was accepted into the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry and was awarded the Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2008. .

The following year, she was a resident within the Advanced Education in General Dentistry Program at UMC. Having always loved kids, she decided to focus her career on dentistry for children and began her career as a practicing dentist in 2009.

She is a proud member of the Mississippi Dental Association, American Dental Association and Mississippi Association of Women Dentists.

Dr. Crain recently moved to Olive Branch and attends St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church.

Dr. Anjali is a dentist who was born in India and moved to Canada when she was just five years old. She spent most of her childhood in Sevierville, TN. where she developed a love for building relationships with people. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville before attending Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery.

As a proud member of the American Dental Association, Dr. Patel is passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of her patients. She loves the way that dentistry allows her to connect with people and build close relationships with them over time. She believes that every patient is unique, and she strives to provide individualized care to each person she sees.

Dr. Patel's passion for working with children started at a young age, and she has been a youth coordinator at her temple since she was just 14 years old. She enjoys finding ways to make dental care fun and engaging for kids, and she believes that it's important to educate children on the importance of good oral health from an early age.

In her free time, Dr. Patel enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She is an avid traveler and loves exploring new places and cultures. She is also a foodie and enjoys trying new restaurants and cuisines. Above all, Dr. Patel is dedicated to providing exceptional dental care to her patients and building meaningful relationships with them along the way.

Dr. Jason Leach was born and raised in Jackson, MS. He is proud of his Alma Mater, Ole’ Miss, having earned both his undergraduate degree and his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Mississippi.

Dr. Leach believes in providing the children he serves with the very same treatment he would want his own kids to receive. By all the smiling faces in his dental chair, we think he is succeeding!

A leading dentist in our mobile dentistry outreach program, Dr. Leach is passionate about helping families access critical preventative services for their children. This program partners with our local schools and Head Starts to help improve health outcomes for the children they support.

In the mobile program and at the office, Dr. Leach encourages healthy habits that will prevent tooth decay in Mississippi children.

Dr. Leach spends his spare time with his wife and two kids. What could be better than that?

Dr. Nate Gamache is a dedicated and compassionate dentist committed to making dental visits a comfortable and positive experience for his patients. Originally from Halstead, Kansas, he pursued his undergraduate degree in Psychology at Bethel College, graduating in 2019. He then earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) in 2023.

Dr. Gamache is an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA), American Student Dental Association (ASDA), and the American Dental Education Association (ADEA). His academic achievements include being on the Dean’s Honor Roll and serving as the ADEA President, as well as a board member of ASDA’s Board of Trustees.

Passionate about helping patients feel at ease, Dr. Gamache chose dentistry to help people overcome their fear of dental visits. He especially enjoys working with children, finding them hilarious and full of energy.

Dr. Fazeel Hassan is thrilled to bring his passion for kids dentistry to the Horn Lake, Mississippi community. Originally from Gainesville, Florida, Dr. Hassan is dedicated to using his hands and mind to make a positive impact on our patients' lives.

Dr. Hassan earned his undergraduate degree from the University of South Florida, followed by a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Nova Southeastern University. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, demonstrating commitment to staying current with the latest developments in dental care.

Dr. Hassan believes in making dental visits a positive experience for children. His approach focuses on creating a comfortable environment where young patients feel at ease. He finds great satisfaction in the hands-on nature of dentistry and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in each child's oral health journey.

His helpful tip for parents: "Brush the teeth you want to keep!" Dr. Hassan emphasizes the importance of establishing good oral hygiene habits early in life.

Dr. Chad Tillman Couch Jr. is delighted to serve the Happy Smiles community with exceptional dental care. Originally from Bristol, Tennessee, Dr. Couch brings a warm, family-centered approach to dentistry and is passionate about making a positive impact on children's oral health.

Dr. Couch earned his undergraduate degree in Biology from King University, followed by his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from UTHSC School of Dentistry. He maintains active memberships with the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, serving as Secretary, and holds the Intramural Chair position, demonstrating his commitment to advancing pediatric dental care.

Dr. Couch believes in making dental visits comfortable and stress-free for young patients. His approach focuses on building trust with children while educating families about proper oral hygiene. He finds great satisfaction in helping children develop positive associations with dental care that will benefit them throughout their lives. His helpful tip for families: "Brush every tooth... not just the ones you can see!" Dr. Couch emphasizes the importance of thorough brushing techniques to maintain optimal oral health.

Dr. Andy Li is delighted to provide exceptional dental care to the Happy Smiles family! Originally from State College, Pennsylvania, Dr. Li brings warmth, expertise, and a genuine love for working with children to our practice.

Dr. Li earned his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering from Mississippi State University, followed by his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the University of Mississippi Medical Center. He is a proud member of the American Dental Education Association and was honored as Class Marshal and Stephen D. Lee Scholar during his dental education.

Dr. Li felt his calling to become a dentist has allowed him the opportunity to have a direct positive impact on other humans. He says he was a frequent visitor to the dentist when he was a kid, getting a lot of fillings, crowns, and root canals, because he didn't care for his teeth. He wants to make sure children are aware of the importance of their oral health from someone who has "been there, done that."

Dr. Lauren Hopper is excited to bring her passion for children's dentistry to the Horn Lake, Mississippi community. Originally from Benton, Arkansas, Dr. Hopper is dedicated to making a positive impact on people's lives through exceptional dental care.

Dr. Hopper earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Central Arkansas, followed by her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. She is an active member of the American Dental Association, demonstrating her commitment to excellence in dental practice.

Dr. Hopper believes that prevention starts with daily care and emphasizes the importance of building healthy habits for a healthy smile. She finds great joy in helping children feel comfortable during their dental visits and works to turn each appointment into a positive experience. Her warm, caring approach helps young patients develop a lifelong appreciation for oral health. Dr. Hopper is committed to educating both children and parents about the importance of good oral hygiene practices.

Dr. Cayce Wallace  is a board-certified pediatric dentist and has been setting the highest standards in kids dentistry since 2010. Born and raised in Mississippi, Dr. Wallace attended Mississippi College where he played baseball and received a B.S. degree in Medical Biology.

He attended Dental School at the University of Mississippi and completed specialty training at the Batson’s Children’s Hospital in Jackson, MS. Dr. Wallace was named Chief Resident and became a diplomate for the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.

Dr. Wallace has focused on developing his skills to combine exceptional dentistry in a fun and relaxed environment. He believes that good oral health requires educating the child and parent at an early age. He brings passion and energy to provide the kids of the community the service they deserve.

Dr. Wallace is an active member of many of the leading dental organizations, including the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association and the Arizona Dental Association.
